Graduates Party
Submitted by admin on Tue, 2010-05-18 08:24.Graduates love to have a place for mingling and celebrating the big event, not to mention all those years that have gone by. Whether you are throwing a bash for graduating preschool munchkins, high school seniors or college grads, it still requires you to plan, prepare and start a party. A relaxed, happy host makes relaxed and happy guests too. There are fantastic ideas that can help you in making a perfect party.
Choose a date and time for the party. Keep in mind that there are many celebrations and family commitments scheduled at this time of the year, so it is better to select a date & time that allow the graduates to be flexible. Prepare an approximate budget.
Consider the type of party that you want. Remember many of them be going on, so an open house or drop-in party would be the best one. Decide on a nice menu, and consider the age of the partygoers in mind when you choose food and drink, like pizza and soda may be great for the high school graduates, but the college graduates would expect something more sophisticated.
Prepare a guest list, target for a broader cross-section of friends and classmates. You can consider your school colors, graduation year or school sports teams as a theme for your graduation party. Autograph boards are really great for commemorating both the graduation as well as the graduation party. You can ask the guests for writing a message on the board. A combination of memory book and photo album also makes a special gift.
